Last year in May, Mom and I visited Disney Springs, indulging in a little resort hopping. Mom refused to visit the parks, saying they are for kids. Not to mention the walking, standing in lines, and strollers biting your ankles. She had a wonderful time on property, so much that on Christmas Day she told me she wanted to go to Disney with me.

Spaceship Earth, the tallest attraction at EPCOT will be temporarily closing on August 25th for refurbishment. Disney’s states that this is routine maintenance for the ride. It is expected to reopen later this year.

Disney’s PhotoPass Service just shared the newly updated on-ride photo for Test Track presented by General Motors. It shows the new color scheme and graphics on the new ride vehicles. In the background you can see a new futuristic looking city with flying cars.

From July 20th, the parade will be available at 9pm and 11pm. Disney will resume the tradition of past nighttime parades by starting on Main Street U.S.A. and following the traditional parade route ending by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Frontierland.

Disney Parks has just let us know that Test Track at EPCOT will be reopening Tuesday July 22nd! Test track will now have an all-new musical score and new scenes. It is again being sponsored by General Motors.

Disney has updated the closing timeframe for the conversion of Rock ’N’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith to 2026.
