Take Flight Through The Tomorrowland Skies With The Reopened Astro Orbiter

According to the My Disney Experience App and Walt Disney World website, this attraction has finally reopened.

Closing on January 13th, 2025, the Tomorrowland Astro Orbiter underwent a lengthy refurbishment. The refurb resulted in the ride structure being completely removed from the Tomorrowland skyline and taken off-site for repair and reconstruction. Park goers have been able to watch the Walt Disney World team test the ride over the course of the past few weeks and can now get in line to give it a ride themselves.

Colorful carnival ride rockets with green noses spin rapidly on a blurred track, emitting a sense of excitement and speed.

No obvious changes have been made to the attraction, other than the elevator shaft receiving an orange to silver-gray paint change. It appears that regular maintenance and refurbishment has been done on this space themed experience.

Will you be taking to the skies now that the Astro Orbiter has reopened in Tomorrowland?
