Disney Confirms Details For Upcoming Holiday Season At Walt Disney World

Still no holiday party dates, but lots of information about the holidays at Walt Disney World!



The holidays will be rolling into Walt Disney World with a bang starting November 14th! Here’s just a brief overview of what you can enjoy during this upcoming holiday season.

Magic Kingdom

 

  • “Frozen Holiday Surprise” returns to the Magic Kingdom with our friends Anna, Kristoff, and Elsa as they transform Cinderella’s Castle into a winter wonderland.


  • Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns. No dates announced yet but we anticipate those will drop soon.


  • Jungle Cruise will turn into the Jingle Cruise with festive updates along the journey.

  • Candlelight Processional returns with nightly performances by celebrity narrators. Performances are at 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. at the America Gardens Theatre.


  • Holiday Storytellers return to the pavilions around the world showcase. Hear about holiday traditions from each country.


  • The Festival of the Holidays also returns with Holiday Kitchens filled with delicious flavors from around the world. And don’t miss out on all the great holiday performances by the Voices of Liberty, Mariachi Cobre, and more!


  • Head on over to The Land pavilion as Glittering Greenhouse with Christmas Lights returns to Living with the Land.


  • Help Olaf find 13 holiday traditions around the World Showcase in this year’s Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt.

Hollywood Studios

 

  • “Sunset Seasons Greetings” nightly holiday projections return to the Tower of Terror.


  • “For the First time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” returns with a special ending.


  • Toy Story Land friends Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear will be dressed up in their holiday outfits.


  • Minnie’s Holiday Dine will get a holiday spin as Minnie and her pals will be decked out in their holiday best.

Animal Kingdom

 

  • The Merry Menagerie puppets return to Discovery Island. Cast Members bring these adorable animals to life.


  • Artist Rob Kaz will have original artwork available between November 1st and 20th inside of the Island Mercantile.


  • The Tree of Life comes alive with “Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition” once the sun sets. Enjoy this projected holiday show every 10 minutes until the park closes.


  • Minnie and Mickey will be greeting guests in their holiday attire at the Adventurers Outpost.

  • The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll returns with specially decorated Christmas trees inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars characters.


  • Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar is a must try on your visit to Disney Springs. A little bit holiday and a little bit Indiana Jones with an array of holiday food and drinks. What more could you ask for?


  • Santa will be available again to whisper all your holiday wants and wishes to. He’ll be heading back to the North Pole on December 24th.

Resorts

 

  • Resort specific themed Christmas trees once again take center stage at the resorts. Check out all the unique decorations that symbolize the characteristics of each resort.


  • Gingerbread displays are also returning to the deluxe resorts minus The Grand Floridian. The famous larger than life house will be absent this year due to the ongoing refurbishment of the lobby.
