Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has been closed for refurbishment, but the wildest ride in the wilderness is getting ready to thrill guests again in 2026. We just found out some new details for the ride, so hang on to your hats and take a look at the changes.

Mickey’s of Glendale is returning to Destination D23 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort starting August 29th, and the merchandise collections have finally been revealed! Inspired by Disney Parks, global destinations, and Walt Disney Imagineering. This year’s lineup includes the bold, metro-inspired Passport Collection, the charming Mary Blair–inspired Disney Destinations Collection, and the eagerly awaited Muppets Studio Collection.

Disney has just announced the opening date for Zootopia: Better Zoogether at Animal Kingdom. The new show, replacing the It’s a Bugs Life attraction, will open on November 7th.
