The merch collections featured at Mickey's of Glendale coming to Destination D23 have been revealed
Mickey's of Glendale is once again back at Destination D23 this year which will take place at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort starting August 29th. Multiple merchandise collections are arriving and they have finally been revealed! Taking inspiration from Disney Parks and attractions, global destinations and Walt Disney Imagineering. Take a lot and see what you think!
The theme for D23 this year is Journey Around the World's of Disney. The Passport Collection is exactly what it says! Your passport around the world and inspired by global transport systems. The collection features bold colors and a minimalist design. This collection also uses metro iconography in the design. These are minimalist graphic symbols used in urban transit signage, but in the Passport Collection they are actually coded with abbreviations for the Disney Parks!
The Disney Destinations Collection is the next one getting a preview. This collection, inspired by Mary Blair, brings together favorite characters and park icons from around the world in charming designs. This collection, which is designed by Tyler Krantz who is the Product Designer for Mickey's of Glendale, has items featuring Goofy, Dumbo and Orange Bird.
There is one final collection, that we don't yet have a preview image for, and we are very excited about it! The Muppets Studio Collection! Mickey's of Glendale is releasing three Muppets themed drops!
The Muppets Studio Black and Gold Collection: is a sleekly designed collection with a brand new spirit jersey and crew cap. The collection will have the iconic studio logo.
Kermit Takeover Capsule: everyone's favorite frog has taken over with a soft and summery like green color. What other color would it be?!
The Muppets 70 1-35 Collection: this collection will feature home goods and apparel inspired by the first 35 characters in the anniversary campaign.
As you can see there are so many new items coming to D23, it's going to be a fantastic shopping spree. But that's not all! Mickey's of Glendale have also teased a new collection of Walt Disney Imagineering merchandise!
