Last year in May, Mom and I visited Disney Springs, indulging in a little resort hopping. Mom refused to visit the parks, saying they are for kids. Walt Disney World has extended its popular Bounceback Offer, officially called the Resort Future Stay offer through the end of 2026. Previously set to expire in 2025, the offer allows guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel to save 25%–35% on a future stay during select dates.

Disney has officially announced via their website that the refurbishment of Bay Lake Tower at The Contemporary Resort will continue through July 2026.

After months long refurbishment Stormalong at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club are now open. Guests staying at both hotels can take advantage of the sand-bottom pool and lazy river again. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area is expanding at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. There will be a new zero-entry pool and deck area being added to the existing pool at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Another new treat has made its way to Walt Disney World! The new Little Mermaid show has just opened at Hollywood Studios and Ariel appears to have brought a new goodie with her!

From June 9th to June 11th, Belle Vue Lounge will be temporarily closed for maintenance.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will be undergoing routine exterior maintenance from July through October 2025.
