Stormalong Bay Now Open And Pool Expansion At Fort Wilderness

After a months long refurbishment Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club is now open. Guests staying at both hotels can take advantage of the sand-bottom pool and lazy river again.  The Shipwreck Pool and water slide will remain closed while they are completing routine maintenance.

The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area is expanding at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. There will be a new zero-entry pool and deck area being added to the existing pool. Fancy tennis or pickleball? They are adding a tennis court and two pickleball courts.

Stormalong Bay is my favourite pool at Disney. I am currently on the DVC WaitList for the Beach Club later this year. So I'll be delighted if it comes through.
