After months long refurbishment Stormalong at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club are now open. Guests staying at both hotels can take advantage of the sand-bottom pool and lazy river again. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area is expanding at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. There will be a new zero-entry pool and deck area being added to the existing pool at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Beginning January 1, 2026, Walt Disney World is tightening its tent strings at Fort Wilderness by reducing the maximum number of guests allowed per campsite from 10 to 8.
