Disney’s Animal Kingdom has welcomed two new African Painted Dog residents! Xavi and Sonnett will now be adding to the charm and biodiversity of the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. These two female African painted dogs are the latest arrivals as part of the park’s commitment to support the preservation of this critically endangered species.


With their dynamic personalities ready to flourish in the savanna landscape, Xavi and Sonnett enhance the multispecies experience alongside guests’ favorite residents like lions, elephants, and giraffes.
