Resort Bus Guests will now go through security screenings
Guests heading to Disney Springs will now notice a change in security procedures as screenings have been expanded to include those arriving by the resort buses.

Previously, visitors who traveled to Disney Springs on Walt Disney World Resort buses were able to enter directly without going through security. That process has now been updated. Regardless of whether you arrive by car, rideshare, boat, on foot, or bus, all guests will now go through a security checkpoint before entering the shopping, dining, and entertainment district.

The new screening station is located at the bus drop-off area and includes metal detectors and bag checks, aligning bus arrivals with all other entry points. While this may add a brief pause to your visit, the measure ensures consistency and strengthens overall safety across the property. Once you are screened, guests are free to move throughout Disney Springs without additional checks, making it easy to enjoy everything from a refreshing Dole Whip to a shopping trip at World of Disney. So, the next time you step off your resort bus, expect a quick security stop before starting your Disney Springs adventure.
