Walt Disney World Debuts New Costumes For Custodial Cast Members

Walt Disney World has introduced an all-new look for its custodial Cast Members, spotlighting a thoughtfully reimagined costume that balances utility with signature Disney flair. Disney Custodial Cast Members were involved in the designing of their new costumes providing input on design and fabric and even doing wear testing. The costume design team take their job very seriously and put a lot of work into ensuring Custodial staff will look sharp while being comfortable.

The refreshed uniforms feature moisture-wicking fabrics, built-in UV protection, adjustable pant lengths, and additional pockets—ensuring all-day comfort during Florida’s ever-changing weather. The classic sweeping Mickey Mouse logo remains a central design element, preserving tradition while stepping into a modern aesthetic with some magical upgrades for comfort.

The update also introduces a new hat that supports various hairstyles and accommodates eyewear—emphasizing inclusivity and practical design. These changes reflect Disney’s ongoing dedication to creating a magical and supportive environment for its Cast Members, the true heartbeat of the parks.
