New Disney Candy Containers Themed On Iconic Trash Cans

Updated: 17 hours ago

New bulk candy containers arriving at Walt Disney World Resort are themed after trash cans you can find at the parks

We've all used one of the iconic trash cans found around the parks as a table at some point, usually at an EPCOT festival. Well, Disney have now turned the humble trash can into a bin-credible souvenir!

The new trash candy container is based on the Main Street USA trash cans that you can find in Magic Kingdom. They feature a swinging lids on either side just like the real ones, and also a flip top so you can access your candy!

The New Candy Container Design

To purchase a trash can candy container you will need to visit one of the six locations around Walt Disney World offering the souvenirs!

The locations are:

  • Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom

  • Zuri's Sweet Shop in Disney's Animal Kingdom

  • Goofy's Candy Company in Disney Springs

  • The Candy Cauldron in Disney Springs

  • Screen Door General Store at Disney's Boardwalk Inn

  • Meadow Trading Post at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

An Example of What The Candy Container Can Hold

When you get to one of the locations you will need to choose at least half a pound of candy from the bulk candy wall. Make sure to use one of the bags provided at this point. Once you've made your selection you can check out. There will be a limit of two candy containers per person per transaction.

Once you have made your purchase you can throw away the bag and use the trash can container to store your candy! It will make the perfect souvenir to remember your Disney trip! You can even reuse it.

The candy containers are set to be available later in May although an exact date hasn't been announced.

Will you be buying the new candy container?
