Breakfast and a show made for a perfect day at EPCOT
One of my 2025 December Walt Disney World bucket list trip items was to see the Candlelight Processional. I have only heard amazing things about the performance and since this is only offered during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, I knew I had to add it to this trip. Knowing that I had to fit it into my long weekend at Walt Disney World, booking the Candlelight Processional Dinning Package option was the way to go to guarantee that seat and show.

When it came time to book the show, I had reviewed the narrators and show dates and times. However, I quickly learned that this show and dining package options was popular and most of my first choices were not available. I ended up selecting a date that worked the best with my park day plans, versus which celebrity narrator I was most interested in. It ended up working out great and I think any narrator would make this experience wonderful.
The Candlelight Processional Dining Package offer eating experiences at most table service locations at EPCOT and a same day booking at Regal Eagle Smokehouse. I had already booked a late lunch at GEO-82 on my Candlelight day, so I was hoping for an early breakfast offering or late dinner option. I ended up with a 9:30am booking at La Creperie de Paris. This was my first trip to La Creperie de Paris and I was excited to try a new location and that this location was also the lowest cost (other than the quick service location). The La Creperie prix fixe menu for the Candlelight Processional did not disappoint! My cost ($57) included my cappuccino, starter salad, savory crape and sweet crape. It was a large amount of food for what I paid. I really enjoyed the Savoyarde and Melba Crepes.
Once I finished my meal, the cast member handed me my admission for the show. This was similar to when I have done the Dinner and Show for Fantasmic! I was told to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to my start time. There were three shows on my night and I picked the 8:15pm show. This was the last show time offered for the day. I picked the last showing simply to maximize park time and give me some downtime between park activities at the resort. Was I glad I had some resort time, my night called for a lot of rain and I was thankful to be able to stop at my room and reassess my wardrobe and grab my rain coat.
The night before my show, I had enjoyed a walk around World Showcase. There was an information table right at the entrance to the American Adventure building and I stopped to chat with the Candlelight Processional cast members. My reason for stopping was to ask how early the recommended getting inline for the show. Even though I had a guaranteed seat, I wanted a guaranteed good seat in the amphitheater. They mentioned that guests start lining up an hour prior to the show time for the dinner package seating, so I planned ahead with this feedback. I couldn't have been more thankful for my rain jacket as I waited in the rain for my showtime. Thankfully, when we were let in for the show, I was not only in a great seat, I was under the theater covering and stayed dry during the show.
The Candlelight Processional was absolutely amazing! I am so thankful I went to the show and cannot wait to see it again. The music with the full orchestra was beautiful, some very talented musicians. The stage was filled with a choir made of cast members and at the center was the Voices of Liberty singers. My narrator for the evening was Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars animated series) and she did a lovely job. She read passages from the Biblical Christmas Story and the narration was broken up with carols throughout. I really enjoyed the entire presentation and found the entire production to be very well done. I look forward to making this a regular addition to my holiday trips.
Things I learned through this experience:
The guaranteed seating with the Dining Package was 100% worth it, especially for those who arrived last minute to avoid standing in the rain.
Dining Packages seemed to be popular, so you may not get your first choice for narrator, restaurant or show night.
If you do not take advantage of the Dining Package option, the standby line gets very long. I noticed on show nights prior to mine, the standby line for getting in started forming over an hour prior to the show.
Have you experienced the Candlelight Processional at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays? Who was your narrator?
