Last year in May, Mom and I visited Disney Springs, indulging in a little resort hopping. Mom refused to visit the parks, saying they are for kids. Not to mention the walking, standing in lines, and strollers biting your ankles. She had a wonderful time on property, so much that on Christmas Day she told me she wanted to go to Disney with me.

No horsing around, Whispering Canyon will be closed for select days in May. Refurbishments scheduled for Whispering Canyon at Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Guests staying at Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach & Wilderness Lodge will also be able meet Disney characters at their hotel.

From May 12th-21st 2025, Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be closed for refurbishment.
