Disney has announced a refurbishment for the Big Top Tent in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom. Starting January 5, 2026, Pete’s Silly Sideshow and Big Top Souvenirs will temporarily close for maintenance. While an end date hasn't been shared, fans can still find Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy at temporary locations nearby. Keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app for the latest updates during your January visit.

Santa Goofy is bringing big laughs and even bigger holiday cheer to EPCOT’s 2025 Festival of the Holidays! Inside the Odyssey’s Glittering Grove, guests can wander through a sparkling forest of glowing Christmas trees before meeting the goofiest Santa around. Decked out in his bright red suit and overflowing with festive fun, Santa Goofy is ready to pose, giggle, and sprinkle a little extra whimsy into your holiday season.

Santa Claus is officially back at Disney Springs, bringing festive cheer to the Marketplace now through December 24. Guests can meet the big man in red using Disney’s convenient virtual queue system, allowing families to enjoy the holiday atmosphere while they wait. With sparkling décor, seasonal treats, and magical photo moments, this no-ticket-required experience is becoming one of Disney Springs’ most beloved holiday traditions.

With the closure of most of the Animation Courtyard Disney is now offering some meet and greets of classic characters that we’ve all grow up with. Mary Poppins, Bert, Jiminy Cricket, and Pinocchio are now meeting in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

A trip to Walt Disney World comes around once a year for me, although I wish it could be a little more often!
