Starting September 11, 2025, guests can secure a guaranteed seat for The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure at Disney’s Hollywood Studios through the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This new addition joins other second-tier show options, with selections available to book beginning August 20 for guests with valid park admission. The paid Lightning Lane service offers shorter waits by allowing guests to choose specific arrival times for rides and shows.

In a surprise announcement Disney Parks Blog just revealed that “The Magic of Disney Animation” experience is coming to Hollywood Studios in 2026.

Last year in May, Mom and I visited Disney Springs, indulging in a little resort hopping. Mom refused to visit the parks, saying they are for kids. Not to mention the walking, standing in lines, and strollers biting your ankles. She had a wonderful time on property, so much that on Christmas Day she told me she wanted to go to Disney with me. 

Grek, Red, Oskar, and Besh, the BDX (Bipedal Dynamic Experiment) droids who made their public debut at SXSW, have now landed at Hollywood Studios.

On Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 Hollywood Studios became home to two brand new attractions. One was the newly revamped Little Mermaid show, "A Musical Adventure," and the other was the much-anticipated Villains show, "Unfairly Ever After". We were lucky enough to see both shows on opening day and even luckier to preview of Villains two days earlier.
