D23 announces it's a great big beautiful tomorrow for Walt Disney in Tomorrowland

A Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic joined Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln at Disneyland in 2025. Announced at the D23 Event today, August 30th, a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic will be joining the Carousel of Progress.

The Carousel of Progress made its debut in 1964 at the World's Fair in New York and has had more performances than any other stage show in American theater history, a fact that the attraction will tell you itself. Disney Imagineers promise there are more details to come, but the addition of Walt Disney to an attraction he cared so much about is a great news update.
