Blizzard Beach to reopen for the coming season while Typhoon Lagoon closes.
Starting on November 4th, Typhoon Lagoon will be closing for the season and Blizzard Beach will be reopening. Walt's Disney World is continuing the trend of only opening and operating one water park at a time. Currently, cast members are able to shuffle between the two locations and Walt Disney World is able to make the needed refurbishments while the closure takes place.
