Temporary Closure: CommuniCore Hall Transformation At EPCOT

This is no goof! CommuniCore Hall is closing for a special Goofy transformation!


CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT brings energy to the World Celebration area of the park. It's known for providing live entertainment and seasonal experiences to pair with the different park festivals. Gawrsh, it's just a great place to be! So great that Goofy is taking over CommuniCore Hall as part of the Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World. Here at Walt Disney World Adults Only (WDWAO), our mantra is "Never Grow Up", so the Cool Kid Summer has something for even us Disney Adults.

CommuniCore Hall to Temporarily Close

CommuniCore Hall will close on Monday, May 12th to allow Goofy time to convert the space into his Cool Kid Summer experience. Goofy will offer park visitors DJ-led dance parties, games, and more in the EPCOT space. While Goofy prepares for his summer takeover of the venue, the Mickey & Friends meet and greet will remain open to park guests.

Our article source did not have the reopening date, but the additional "Cool Kid Summer" activities start on May 27th. Here's hoping CommuniCore reopens when the rest of the festivities start.
