The Medals Have Just Been Revealed for the 2025 runDisney Virtual Series
This year runDisney is celebrating 10 years of the runDisney Virtual Series! The series will feature three at home races, themed around some favourite Disney attractions. Runners can take part between June 1st and August 31st 2025. And you can sign up for one race, or complete all three 5K races, to earn an additional challenge medal.
The first race is the Virtual 5K: Disney Pirates of the Caribbean! This super fun medal features a swashbuckling logo on one side and a pirate ship in a bottle that moves. It also features the 10 Years of Running logo to commemorate the anniversary.
Next up is the Virtual 5K: Jungle Cruise! This fun medal shows one of the boats from the infamous attraction and a ship wheel that actually rotates behind.
The third race is the Virtual 5K: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! This fun medal shows the Thunder Mountain train on the front, which even has a working light!
For runners taking on the Virtual Challenge: Disney Happily Ever After, which is all three races, they will receive the challenge medal.
The Virtual Series 5K races are $58 plus tax and the challenge is $180 plus tax. Registration for the races will open tomorrow, April 1st.
