The Race Weekend Maps Are Out .... Here Are The Walt Disney World Road Closures
This weekend, February 23rd - 25th, runDisney will be hosting their Royal weekend celebrating some of our favorite Disney Princesses. The race courses are now live and will have the biggest impact on EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Travellers.
Here’s what you need to know, if you’re visiting EPCOT during race weekend:
The maps confirm that all three races will start and end at EPCOT. This means traffic to and from the park in the morning will be busy, especially on Sunday (February 25th) after the half marathon.
Runners will not be done with the half marathon by time the park opens, so cast members will route park guests around the race course, whilst the last runners finish up.
For our Magic Kingdom travellers, there will be road closures from 5:30am - 9:30am on Sunday (February 25th), as runners race from EPCOT to the Magic Kingdom. Be sure to allow for extra travel time to the Magic Kingdom on this day.
