Recreation To Be Effected At Disney's BoardWalk Resort Due To Refurb Efforts

Planned 2027 refurbishment to have a big impact on Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas

If you're already working on your 2027 Walt Disney World travel plans, then keep in mind that Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas will be under construction January 11th, 2027 through April of 2027. On the list of resort areas receiving some TLC are Luna Park Pool, Luna Park Crazy Play Area, and Leaping Horse Libations pool bar.

Known for it's Coney Island vibes, the Luna Park Pool will be closed to guests during the duration of the refurb efforts. Those staying at Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas will continue to have access to the two leisure pools located at the resort. Park hoppers and resort guests should expect to see construction activity during the day time hours as the work crew refreshes the Luna Park Pool area.

While the Luna Park Crazy Play Area is closed, other resort amenities, like bike and boat rentals, will remain open. Guest can also take a stroll along the Boardwalk to the Yacht and Beach Club for some nearby resort hoping and ice cream at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Speaking of snack options, while Leaping Horse Libations is closed for refurbishment, boardwalkers can still enjoy the remaining quick services and dining options at the resort. Make a stop at The Boardwalk Deli, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, or Cake Bake Shop.

The coming refurbishment efforts at Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas are all considered to be routine maintenance to ensure guests are having a wonderful stay at the resort.
