Official Groundbreaking For Tropical Americas Area

It’s official! Tropical Americas is a go!
Disney just celebrated with an official groundbreaking ceremony at Animal Kingdom today. It took place with Disney Imagineers and other Disney executives in what was formally Chester and Hesters Dino-Rama area. This area along with TriceraTop Spin, Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Games have closed. The rest of DinoLand U.S.A. will be closed in about a year. We’re excited to see Disney officially kick off construction for the new Tropical Americas.
