Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade Details Confirmed in Release
Disney Parks Blog have just announced some new details for the upcoming nighttime parade Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. The parade is just a few months away from debut and we can't wait!
First of all is the official poster for the nighttime spectacular. This poster will be found alongside other iconic posters below the Main Street, USA train station. The poster captures familiar nostalgia as well as modern stories and is a beautiful design.

Although we've now seen most of the floats that are featured on the poster, there is one that until now we haven't seen. There will be a new Coco float! The float will be announced by Mariachi music and the float itself will feature a larger than life Pepita, with wings spread above the parade route. Below will be Miguel strumming his guitar, standing at the foot of the marigold bridge to the Land of the Dead, complete with sugar skull fireworks. This float will be bursting with colour and light.

Although the other floats may have already been shown, there are some new details coming to light. The first float of the parade will set the tone for the parade and will feature the Blue Fairy. The magical wand of the Blue Fairy features a special star, and to paraphrase a fan favourite Magic Kingdom quote, that's actually the 'first star you'll see tonight!'. You will be invited to wish upon this star to start the parade.

The Encanto portion of the parade will mean Isabela's Magic Kingdom debut and in true Isabela fashion she will be swinging from floral vines, just like in the movie.

The parade will also feature a Moana float complete with beautiful waves. Moana, of course, takes centre stage but watch closely to see Pua, HeiHei and even a manta ray to represent Gramma Tala.

The Disney Princess float was previously released showing the characters on board includes Aurora & Prince Philip, Tiana & Prince Naveen, Belle & the Beast and Cinderella & Prince Charming. What the image hadn't shown were the royal court dancers who will feature at the start and end of the Disney Princess section of the parade. This is a nod to the fabulous Main Street Electrical Parade.

That was a lot of exciting announcements! We can't wait to see Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away this summer. We will keep you updated on any new updates as they are announced. What are you most looking forward to?
