In honor of the Muppets' 70th anniversary, Walt Disney World has unveiled a vibrant new addition to its Skyliner fleet. A bright yellow gondola has arrived on the line and features beloved Muppets characters like Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Sam Eagle, Kermit the Frog, and the ever-heckling Statler and Waldorf. Each side of the gondola showcases scenes reminiscent of "The Muppet Show," complete with red curtains and theatrical arches. Kermit is depicted serenading beneath a rainbow, adding a touch of whimsy to the design.

This commemorative gondola began service on May 9, 2025, marking 70 years since the debut of "Sam and Friends," the precursor to the Muppets. Guests can spot this special gondola traveling between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, as well as select resort hotels. As Walt Disney World prepares to retire Muppet*Vision 3D at Hollywood Studios next month to make way for a new Monsters Inc area, this Skyliner tribute offers fans a nostalgic nod to the Muppets' enduring legacy.

Which Muppet would you love to share a Skyliner ride with?
