Get Ready For Extended Park Hours In January 2026

January Walt Disney World travelers may have the opportunity to spend more time in all four parks.
If you visit the Walt Disney World website, you'll notice that the theme park operating hours have been updated for January, 2026. Extended Evening Hours are giving park hoppers more time to ride and explore the Walt Disney World Magic. At first glance, it appears the following Extended Evening Hours have been added to the park calendars:
Disney's Animal Kingdom is getting wild on most Wednesday night's from now through the New Year. Check your My Disney Experience App to see which Wednesdays have extended hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom. This means the Animal Kingdom Dates are November 21st & 26th and December 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th. Ring in the New Year in style with an additional late night on January 1st.
EPCOT seems to be the place to be on Monday evenings from now through January 19th, 2026. This includes November 17th & 24th, December 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th and then January 5th, 12th and 19th.
Picking up after January 19th, the Monday night extended evening hours will move to Disney's Hollywood Studios starting on January 26th.
Magic Kingdom will be celebrating the holiday season with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and a New Years Celebration. Starting January 7th, 2026, Disney's Magic Kingdom will have extended evening hours on Wednesday. January dates at Magic Kingdom include January 7th, 14th & 21st.
