Expedition Mickey Mouse Collection by Bret Iwan Hits Disney Parks

Adventure-inspired Mickey Mouse merchandise arrives at select Disney Parks locations


A brand-new line of merchandise, the Expedition Mickey Mouse Collection is trekking into select locations at the Disneyland Resort (starting October 31) and the Walt Disney World Resort (starting November 1). This line was created by voice actor-turned-designer Bret Iwan, best known as the official voice behind Mickey Mouse since 2009. Iwan brings his lifelong love of art and the great outdoors into this apparel-and-accessory collection.



What’s in the collection

Expect rugged-meets-Disney style with pieces that riff on vintage national-parks aesthetics:

  • Flannel shirts patterned with custom-designed graphics and colors drawn from the collection’s palette.

  • Utility jackets built for “the trails” of Disney, with heavy canvas, pockets, appliqués and embroidered details.

  • Sweatshirts styled like classic crewnecks that get better with wear — vintage comfort with Mickey flair.

  • Baseball caps, t-shirts and other more casual items that carry the adventurous theme throughout.

Bret Iwan also tucked fun Easter eggs into the design! If you look you will find silhouettes of beloved park icons such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Matterhorn Bobsleds and Expedition Everest hidden among lanterns and trees within the print patterns.



Why this one stands out

This collection is the first where Iwan says his entire vision is behind both the artwork and every element of the merchandise, from stitching to fabric to color. The “expedition” theme isn’t a superficial overlay. It’s a genuine part of the design story, invoking the character of Mickey as an explorer, and aimed at fans who love Disney Parks and the outdoors-inspired lifestyle.

Where to find it

A lively kickoff for the collection will take place at Disney Springs on November 1, where guests can join a live Q&A session with designer and Mickey-voice artist Bret Iwan at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage, followed by the official opening ceremony at the World of Disney store. Attendees will then have the opportunity to participate in a meet-and-greet at the adjacent Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories and receive a pre-signed item from the collection. The collection will be available at select WDW locations while supplies last:
