Four new Manatees are calling Walt Disney World home.

The Seas at EPCOT has been changing with the tides over the past year. We've seen several inhabitants move out and make room for new to swim in.

Cider and Mino are two of the four manatees swimming through the tanks at The Seas at EPCOT. You can visit them at the first and second floor SeaBase Aquarium. Both manatees were orphaned and found needing care. Cider is currently being monitored for an abscess and will be released back into the wild once she has a clean bill of health. Mino will be taking advantage of the all you can eat buffet at Walt Disney World as the animal care team works to get him back up to a healthy weight before returning to the wild.

There are two additional male manatees that Walt Disney is caring for. These two are backstage receiving care. As The Seas at EPCOT has transition to more short-term care versus long-term care for their inhabitants, it is likely we will continue to see several more manatees rotate through the SeaBase Aquarium.
