Get ready for early entry hours at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto & Tiki Terrace!
The tiki bar at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is updating their operating hours! Historically opening at 3:00pm, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is now open from 11:00 am through Midnight. On the Walt Disney World website, these updated lounge hours are reflected through February 14th, 2026. It's unclear currently if the added magical hours at this Jungle Cruise themed hot spot are here to stay or not.
Joining Trader Sam's Grog Grotto with a schedule change, the Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace outdoor lounge will also open at 11:00 am. Guest will be able to enjoy their exotic themed cocktails and island vibes starting earlier in the day. Both locations will start taking food orders starting at 11:00 am, making Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and Tiki Terrace perfect for that mid-day lunch break.
Because of its collectable mugs and signature cocktails, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto has become a popular spot where advanced reservations are not available. Hopefully, with the extended service, more guests will be able to enjoy these Polynesian Village Resort treasures.
