Routine maintenance is planned to keep the high-flying gondolas running smoothly across Walt Disney World Resort
The Disney Skyliner transportation system at Walt Disney World Resort is a popular way for guests to travel from some of the Disney resorts to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Many guests choose to stay at Skyliner resorts specifically for this perk.
Disney recently let travelers know that the Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment from January 25th-31st, 2026. During this time buses will be available to transport guests to the parks.
Each year the Skyliner is scheduled for a temporary closure to undergo routine refurbishment. This maintenance period aims to ensure the continued safety and efficiency of this popular form of transportation.
