Hi - I'm Stephanie and I've previously blogged about my top 5 Walt DisneyWorld rides of each individual park, but which ones are my ultimate favorites?
Coming in at No.5 is Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, located in Asia within Animal Kingdom.

Prepare to board a steel rollercoaster that will take you on an unforgettable journey around the Forbidden Mountain. However, be warned: the mountain is protected by what was once thought of as a mythical beast - The Yeti.
Hopefully there will be no damage to the track as your carriage reaches speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. Yeti sightings are rare, but just in case, buckle up and keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times.
Another Animal Kingdom ride is my fourth favorite in all the parks. Flight of Passage is a 3-D simulator located in Pandora. This ride allows guests to take flight on a banshee and soar across the landscapes.
The Disney Imagineers have worked hard to make sure all your senses are stimulated. I love that you can feel the wind blowing in your hair, and when light turns to darkness in Pandora, that is my favorite part of the ride.

My number three pick is a newer ride: Tron Lightcycle Run. This awesome ride is located in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. Make sure you make the most of it though as it is only about 60 seconds long.

It features a motorbike design, and the coaster reaches a maximum speed of 60 mph. Tron has sit-down sections in the back of the ride for people with disabilities or who are plus-size. Be prepared for an exhilarating take off, which is my favorite part of the ride.
Surprisingly, the next ride has not made my number one spot, even though I am a huge Star Wars fanatic. Riding high at number two, this attraction is located in Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios and lasts a whopping 18 minutes. Rise of the Resistance is very immersive and really makes you feel like you are a freedom fighter, trying to defeat the evil Empire. The First Order leads you into an interrogation room, then Finn breaks you out. With the help of an R5 unit and a transport ship, your mission is to escape. This ride can warrant a long waiting time but it does have a single rider line.

The only downside is you miss a lot of the pre-show as you are dropped in the room with the stormtroopers. It’s definitely a faster way to enjoy the ride though but maybe not ideal for your first experience of it. My husband, Mike, and I do not mind missing the pre-show since we have ridden many times - I did tell you that I was a massive Star Wars fan.
It had to be a very special ride to beat Rise of the Resistance for the top spot. Therefore, my number one ride from all of the Disney World parks has to be Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This ride is in the World Discovery area of EPCOT, and is an enclosed roller coaster which takes you on a mission to save the world.
Guardians is EPCOT's first roller coaster and, even more impressively, Disney’s first backwards-launched roller coaster. It spins 360 degrees, giving you a full view of all the action. The ride reaches a maximum speed of 60 mph, and lasts 3 minutes. To be honest, it is not my husband’s favorite attraction, but he will ride it for me even though he suffers from motion sickness. He now has a special band that gives you small shocks in your wrist, and it helps with the nausea.

This ride features six songs and it is always exciting when you are waiting to hear what one will accompany your experience. One year they even had a special Christmas song, “Run Rudolph Run” to put yourself in the holiday mood.
Well, these are my top five rides at Walt Disney World. How does your favorite list compare to mine? Have you yet to experience any of these outstanding attractions?

My list may be subject to change when they bring back the new and improved Test Track. I really hope they include the Crash Test Dummies as I really miss the ride being themed around them. Are you looking forward to any of the planned new attractions that will enhance Walt Disney World?
