If you weren’t already confused about Genie+ and Lightning Lanes….
Disney Parks Blog has just announced that changes will take place to the Genie+ service and Individual Lightning Lanes at Disney World.
Genie+ service will be renamed Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Individual Lightning Lanes will be Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass: You will be able to make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park in advance of your visit. You’ll also be able to choose your times too. This is similar to the old FastPass+ of yesteryear. You'll also be able to make additional selections after you use your first one.
Lightning Lane Single Pass: This will still remain the same where you can secure a time (via purchase) in advance. Purchase up to 2 per day.
Booking In Advance:
Disney Resort Guests including Swan & Dolphin & Swan Reserve and Shades of Green: 3 Lightning Lanes 7 days in advance for their entire stay up to 14 days.
Non-Disney Resort Guests and Annual Passholders: 3 days in advance
