Portable chargers at Walt Disney will see a price increase.
Phones are used quite a bit while in the Walt Disney World Parks and are a popular necessity. Whether you’re using it for pictures or for the My Disney Experience App, your phone tends to run low on battery, quickly. The FuelRod park essential that many guests depend on is changing some and increasing in price. Having FuelRod stations is a VERY convenient benefit within the Walt Disney bubble. In the past, you could purchase a FuelRod for $30. Once you used up the battery in your FuelRod, it could be swapped out at these stations free of charge.

Now, the cost has gone up to $38. However, this new version still comes with all the cords and accessories you need, but now it has indicator lights on top to tell you how much charge is left in the device. Once the lights are out, you can still swap it out at the multiple FuelRod stations within the Walt Disney World Parks.
